Mount Walker is located 10km south of Hughenden on the Muttaburra Road with a sealed access to the top of the tabletop mountain. It is a pretty steep road so if you don’t have access to a 4WD we recommend to follow the nice walk from the base of the mountain. Mt Walker offers six separate lookouts that give spectacular view of the district. The red-coloured sands contribute to make it a perfect spot to enjoy sunset or sunrise and a must for the keen photographer. Come early before sunset to get the most popular bench spot and enjoy the coloured-skies of the Outback.
